I don't deserve your plenteous grace
Yet I keep receiving grace upon grace
Your gifts and calling are irrevocable,
Your unchanging truth forever credible.
Take my giant problems and make them look small,
My void, emptiness, My God You make whole.

I have seen you give hope to the heartbroken,
I have seen you fulfill what you had spoken
The promises you give are never broken
You are never tested, you are never shaken.
You strengthen those you awaken
You are always right, never mistaken.

If You are for me, who can be against me?
I will follow You for i am chosen
I have been glued with you
With You, Unshaken.

When you kneel before God there is no prayer that is left on the ground. He picks each of your prayers up and answers according to his purpose. The many prayers and cries have been heard. Weeks long war has finally come to an end. The army that rescued our amazing land from being colonised once again saved the country. God went before us, fought our war and won. God will forever remain Ethiopia’s hope. He has promised us a beautiful future and we believe He will fulfill it. Corona virus was a huge shock to our country. Think about it; in a country with a very poor health facility, poverty what would have happened if corona virus had spread widely? But what did we do? We were fasting and praying so God could have mercy on this pitiful country that’s been beaten by poverty and war for years. And God heard us; the corona virus did not affect us as anticipated. You see when it comes to God, all he needs is our prayers and faith to do the impossible. We hope the Nile dam dispute will also be resolved and Ethiopia will once again walk out with victory. The victory is not ours, it is God’s. God is on our side๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ praise be to God who hears the prayers of the weak, the neglected and the forgotten๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ Ethiopia will forever stretch out her hands to God. Many people are accepting Jesus into their lives every day. The gospel is changing our country. Our prime minister who won the Nopel peace prize last year is a protestant(pentey) who is also by the way a member of Full Gospel Believers’ Church(which i’m also a member of๐Ÿ˜‰) who believes in peace and love and putting God first.

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.”
(Psalms 20:7)

We pray for all the refugees who fled from their country with fear. We pray they find their way back home to us to where they belong.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

I pray for peace and stability in my homeland Africa and all over the world. Thank you Lordโค

  1. I teach and help refugees who live in my city. I often think about how Jesus was a refugee early in his earthly life. Joseph took Mary and the baby Jesus and fled to Egypt because Herod sent his soldiers to Bethlehem to kill all of the male babies.

    1. Yes Jesus was a refugee in his earthly life. It’s amazing to know that he has experienced almost every pain that we can experience on earth. And caring for those refugees who fled from their countries in fear of being killed is something someone who loves Jesus would do. I always read your posts and the way you love those refugees you teach is a lesson to all of us. Thank you for the love you give to others like the bible says we should๐Ÿ™‚
